The traditional King of the Bakonzo-Banmba who make up the Rwenzururu kingdom, His Majesty Charles Wesley Mumbere last evening survived a car accident that claimed one of his staff
by the names of Kabugho Jetrace.
The accident occurred near Mityana town along the Kampala-Fort Portal High way as the King and his convoy were travelling to Kasese from a private trip in Nairobi Kenya.
Three other people were critically injured and were rushed to a Hospital in Mityana town, the Obusinga spokesperson, Patrick Nyamunungu confirmed the accident.
“I can not tell you more than that because I have not been at the scene” Nyamunungu said.
"But the royal family and others who were traveling in other vehicles survived the accident," he said.
