Former Local Government Minister and breakout Museveni ally Jaberi Bidandi Ssali is still admitted in the intensive care unit of Nakasero Hospital where he was rushed after a nasty car accident that occurred when his vehicle reg. no. UAQ 436U rammed into a Fuso truck at Kisasi roundabout while heading to Kiwatule recreation centre.
Access to Bidandi by relatives and friends has been blocked by the hospital saying he needs ample time to rest.

Bidandi, who is the founder and President of the People’s Progressive Party (PPP), sustained multiple injuries.
Newly appointed Buganda Katikkiro (Prime Minister), Charles Peter Mayiga, is one of the very few people who were allowed to see Bidandi. He told members of the press camped in the corridors that Bidandi was still in pain but improving.
“We thank the doctors and we pray to God to help him recover and serve his country and the Kingdom. He is important to the country,” Said Mayiga.
