Just three days after residents of Kilembe in Kasese District were left homeless due to floods, river Nyamwamba has again had its river banks broken due to heavy rains, causing more loss of property in the wake of many residents pondering their next move.
The Sunday early morning down pour led to an accident that involved a Local Government truck that over turned near the Naykasanga play ground as it could not contain the strength of the water that was running so fast. The truck was coming from Fort-Portal heading to Kasese.
District Leaders and residents of Kilembe are calling upon all Ugandans to come to their rescue and offer relief items since the government has delayed to make her deliveries to the affected area.
