On December 26 Karamagi was burnt at Chameleon's home after he allegedly poured fuel on himself in an attempt to pour it on Daniella who found him loitering in their sitting room. That was Daniella's original statement.
However as investigations took shape witnesses came up claiming Karamagi was well known to the family, and one recorded a statement saying he saw Chameleon and his crew torture and burn Karamagi at his home.
At the time of the alleged murder, Chameleon was apparently out of the country. On return, he denied any involvement in the incident say his enemies had sent Karamagi to harm him and his wife.
Karamagi later died due to severe burns on his body.
The Police will then act accordingly depending on the counsel by the DPP's office. The case file, number DEF01/2012, is being handled by police detectives of Kampala Metropolitan South led by Katwe CID boss Jackson Tumwine.
