A renowned Ugandan business tycoon Juvenal Nsenga Kananura was knocked dead by his wife Jackline Uwera Nsenga as she returned home from a drinking spree with lady friends.
This was at their posh home in Bugolobi, a posh suburb of Kampala City. He died at Paragon Hospital in Bugolobi where he had been rushed for medical attention after sustaining deep injuries on his body especially the head.
Doctors said his head was damaged and this led to blood mixing up with his brain, a case that could not leave him with a chance to live
.It is said that when the wife came back in the wee hours of fateful day Morning, she hooted and it was Nsenga who was in the house as the gate man had gone to the village. He rushed to the gate and opened it for the wife. She then started the car and ran over her husband, knocking him over to the ground.
She then made an alarm that attracted the attention of the neighbor's guards who helped her take the Tycoon to Paragon Hospital.
Police said they had impounded the Toyota Mark II that Jackline was driving and recorded statements from her and others who were in the house at the time of the incident.
Nsenga, who was a prominent business man in town hailed from Kanungu District and owned several businesses ranking from transportation to petroleum and agriculture.
He is survived by the suspect and two children.
