The Ministry of Health on Friday delivered 24,000 condoms to the chambers of Uganda's Parliament following complaints by members of the Parliament Committee on HIV/AIDS that the house has no supplies, making them prone to having unprotected sex.

The condoms were delivered by State Minister for Health Hon. Sarah Opendi and were received by the Chairpersons of the HIV/AIDS Committee Sarah Kayagi and Dr. Kenneth Omona.
Opendi refuted claims by MPs that there was a shortage of condoms in the Country.
“We have enough condoms in the country. This is just to prove some of the members who have been saying there are no condoms in the country wrong,” said Opendi.
