Shanita Namuyimbwa, popularly known as Bad black was this Friday morning granted a shs.100 million cash bail by the court of appeal.
All her five sureties were ordered to pay
shs.10 million each non-cash bond.
Black accompanied by her mother and local musician, Halima Namukula wept as the registrar read out the bail conditions. Among her five sureties included Namakula.

Justice Stella Arach Amoko granted bail to Ms Namuyimbwa pending determination of her appeal challenging the four year punishment.
The court also directed her to report to the registrar every after two weeks starting November 30 this year.
The registrar of the Supreme Court, Erias Kisawuzi read out the bail conditions in a fully packed registrar’s office at Twed, Building in Kampala on Friday.

In July this year, Justice Catherine Bamugemerirwe of the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court convicted Ms Namuyimbwa on charges of embezzling US$3.9 million from the company she jointly owned with her ex-lover, and a British engineer, David Greenhalgh.
