National Resistance Movement mobilizers around the country invaded the Party headquarters on Monday demanding payment for the mobilization exercise
they undertook during the presidential, parliamentary, local council and by-elections.
The mobilizers demanded for explanations on why they have not been given their payments yet most of the people they did the mobilizations for are enjoying their elective offices.
"We are tied of waiting yet they are in offices eating our money, we need our money too." Said a mobilizer.
They demanded to have a meeting with the party President, Yoweri Museveni and threatened to de-campaign all NRM contestants come 2016 if their money is not paid.
They claimed to be in possession of documents to support their claim and others that could cost the party a fortune in 2016.
Party spokesperson Hon. Mary Karoro Okurut was not available to comment on the issue as she was reportedly locked up in a meeting. He assistant, Mr. Ofono Opondo too did not receive his calls.
