Congolese President H.E Joseph Kabila on Tuesday had to rush to Uganda's capital Kampala to have talks with President
H.E Yoweri Museveni after Goma was captured by the M23 rebels fighting to oust him.
Kabila arrived in the country at around 2 pm EAT.
Rwandan President H.E Paul Kagame is also expected to attend the talks aimed at forging a solition and way forward to bring the war to an end.
The Congolese forces fled their bases in Goma, leaving strong weaponry behind. There were also reports of sporadic uprisings in the Katanga region.
Kabila has in the recent days accussed Uganda and Rwanda of supporting the M23 rebels to oust him, a fact the UN has confirmed and implicated the two countries for having a hand in the war.
