The Uganda National Examinations (UNEB) Board is set to release the 2012 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results on Thursday Feb 7 for all those
students who sat their Senior Four/ O'Level Examinations.
The release of the results has been confirmed by both the Education Ministry and the Uganda National Examinations Board.
“We will have the release of Senior Four results on Thursday, to avail parents, head teachers and principals with time to prepare Senior Five students for the start of their first term as scheduled.” said education minister Jessica Alupo.
Only invited guests and the press will be allowed access to the examination release venue.
The release of the results will be in the morning and will be officiated by the Minister of Education and sports Hon. Jessica Alupo, the UNEB Secretary Mathew Bukenya and other officials from UNEB.
A total of 268,385 candidates registered for the Senior Four national examinations last year, compared to 2011, where 273,363 candidates registered.
Parents are advised to check for the results of their children through their phones by SMS by sending a message in the format below;
Go to messages on the phone, type UCE(space), student index number and send the message to 6600 across all networks.
