The National Resistance Movement (NRM) caucus is set to meet President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe to discuss the provisions of the controversial marriage and divorce bill under discussion by the Parliament.
The bill is, according to some legislators meant to create harmony and fairness between husbands and wives in homes.
The bill looks at issues like marital rape, domestic violence, property sharing on seperation, withdraw of bride price on separation.
The bill has however generated resistance from some Members of Parliament who argue that it is likely to create and increase conflicts in home and bring about divisions.
Those opposed to the bill want it withdrawn by government while those in support of the bill want it passed in the shortest time possible.
