The wearing of short dresses and mini-skirts could soon become a crime if the proposed bill against ponography moved by State Minister for Ethics and Integrity Hon. Rev. Fr. Sam Lokodo is to be passed and made a law.
Sam Lokodo's Anti-Pornography bill proposes the abolition of publication of ilicit materials, wearing of mini-skirts and short dresses especially in public places. " Some ladies have become cinemas that when they move in public, every one wants to look at them because of the way they are dressed", said Rev. Lokodo.
The bill also proposes a purnishment to all those who will fall culprits of shs.10 million or face imprisonment of 7-15 years.

This bill has however received mixed reactions from the members of the public and Parliamentarians as many say this bill will waste people's valuable time since Ugandans have the freedom of expression, in which dressing falls.
Others say the bill is long overdue as it has turned out that ladies are not willing to change and respect their status as mothers of the nation.
Sam Lokodo says his bill so far has the majority support of over 90% from Members of Parliament and therefore he beleives it will be passed into law.
Ugandan ladies have made it a habit to move in public places "half naked" in a bid to attract the attention of men especially when they wish to have them for night stands.
