Federation for Uganda Football Association (FUFA) on Monday issued a notice of termination of the contract of the Scottish Uganda Cranes National team head Coach Bobby Williamson at FUFA house in Mengo, Kampala.
Bobby has been the National team coach for close to five years and has won Uganda 20 games of 35 games played, had 7 draws and 8 losses.

“The Federation of Uganda football Association (FUFA) hereby informs the public that a notice of termination of contract has this Monday 8th April 2013 been given to the Cranes Head Coach Mr. Roberts ‘Bobby’ Williamson” said Rogers Mulinda, FUFA spokesman.
Bobby replaced Hungarian Laszlo Czaba during the 2008 Nations cup qualification campaign. Williamson has been in charge the 2010, 2012 and 2013 bids to get Uganda to the African Nations Cup but all in vain.
To some football fans in Uganda, Bobby’s sacking will come as a relief as many blamed him for having no vision to enable the National team progress while to others, his exit spells doom for the team.
