Uganda will tomorrow have the reading of her 2013/2014 budget at Parliament by the Finance Minister Hon. Maria Kiwanuka.
The 12 trillion budget is highly anticipated by Ugandans and civil society organisations since the government claims it will finance over 80% of the budget after continued donor fund cuts by key donor countries due to uncontrolled corruption in most government bodies.

The budget reading coincides with the reading of the budgets of the other East African Community (EAC) member countries of Kenya and Tanzania.
Taxes are highly projected to be hiked in order to enable the government meet her budget prospects.
Fuel and Mobile money services are highly looked at as the new targets for raising the budget funds.
The hike in taxes on especially fuel will affect the livelihood of many Ugandans who live on less than a dollar a day.
