Uganda on Saturday evening got a sigh of relief after thrashing Angola 2-1 in a world Cup qualifiers match played at Nambole Stadium under new National Team coach Sredejovic 'Micho' Milutin.
Despite Angola scoring 0-1goal in the first, Uganda Cranes players continued to fight on until they equalised in the last twenty minutes of second half. Uganda Cranes cotinued the struggle in the last ten minutes after Angola's Maguta was given a red card and sent off the pitch.
Uganda's goals came from Emma Okwi 83 and Tonny Mawejje 89 while Angola's only goal was scored by R.J Estevao in the 57th minute.
Cranes' win puts them at 8 points in the group and also better their chances of featuring the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Ugandans showed love to their National team and filled up the Stadium to full capacity despite previous disappointments.
