Thousands of Pilgrims have come from far and beyond the Uganda borders, with many of them coming on foot from as far as Kisoro, Kabale, Soroti, Kenya, DRC, Nigeria, Tanzania and others.
The Uganda Martyrs were young faithful servants of Kabaka Mwanga who were killed on the orders of the King after they refused to denounce their faith which according to the King was an abuse of his powers.

“All motorists from Mukono-Jinja direction going to attend the celebration, will divert at Seeta trading centre and access both shrines through Sonde. Between Kyaliwajala trading centre and the shrines will be a pedestrian road,”
