A Ugandan Journalist belonging to the Vision Group's New Vision was on Monday morning found murdered and dumped in a trench at Masajja along Entebbe Road.
Thomas Pere's body was found by a young boy who was heading to school. He saw the body in the trench and alerted his mother who later alerted area authorities.

Preliminary reports indicate that his body had multiple injuries on the body and is believed to have been hit by an iron bar on his head that ended his life.
Thomas lived in Kawuku along Kampala-Entebbe road . He lived alone, had neither a wife nor children.
