The vetting of new Cabinet ministerial nominees has flopped after the vetting committee chaired by Parliament Speaker Hon. Rebecca Kadaga resolved to postpone the process pending consultations with the President who also is the appointing authority.
In a press release from the Clerk to Parliament, Mrs Jane Kibirige, the new vetting date of the nominees will be communicated in the due course.
The Ministerial nominees who were scheduled for vetting are Gen Aronda Nyakairima (Nominee for Internal Affairs) and Elioda Tumwesigye (Nominee for State for Health.
