Uganda's Prime Minister Hon. Amama Mbabazi could not hide his joy after he was declared victorious in a suit filled in a UK court against Britain's Daily Mail newspaper after it falsely claimed he and his "cronies" siphoned off millions of dollars of foreign Aid.
The Tabloid has issued a public apology on top of an undisclosed amount of compensation in "damages" to Amama Mbabazi.

The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) which Amama Mbabazi heads has been involved in scandals of fraud and misappropriation of funds meant for resettlement of displaced people in Northern Uganda and this led to suspension of Aid by Key donor Countries of Britain, Netherlands, Denmark Norway and Ireland.
It is from these scandles that Amama Mbabazi has come in to the limelight and attracted the attention of both local and foreign media houses.
