It is exactly three years today since Uganda was hit by a shock of twin bombs thrown over football fans at Kyadondo Rugby grounds and Ethiopian Village in Kampala that led to the loss of over 70 lives and scores injured.

Terrorist group Al-Shabab claimed responsibility of the attacks and said it was in retaliation to Uganda's involvement in the fight against them (Al-Shabab) in Somalia.
Uganda, under the African Union Peace Keeping mission in Somalia (AMISOM) sent troops to help the Somalia government fight Al-Shabab rebels who wanted to oust the leadership of Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.
The country still awaits justice to be delivered as the suspects of the twin bombs are still awaiting trial.
