Preparations for Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II's 20th Coronation Anniversary are in high gear in Uganda with many media houses joining hands with the Kingdom to give insights of the Kingdom's history the celebrations slated for 31st July.
Muwenda Mutebi was crowned in 1993, 27 years after former president Milton Obote had abolished kingdoms following the 1966 Buganda crisis that led to the exiling of then King Sir Edward Mutesa II.
The 20th Coronation Anniversary will be held under the new Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga, who succeed Eng. John Baptist Walusimbi.
