Jacqueline Uwera Nsenga charged with murder, sent to Luzira.

The widow to deceased Kampala businessman Juvenal Nsenga, Jacqueline Uwera Nsenga was on Monday charged with the murder of her husband and remanded to Luzira prison.


Driven amid very tight security, Ms Nsenga was produced at Nakawa Chief Magistrates Court where her charge was read.

Chief Magistrate Sylvia Nabbagala remanded Ms Uwera to Luzira Prison until August 5. She was advised to apply for bail by Nabbagala if she so wished.

State Attorney, Doreen Elimu told court that the investigations into the case were still on-going. No plea was taken.

Prosecution alleges that Jacqueline knocked dead her husband on January 10 at the entrance of their home in Bugolobi, a Kampala suburb as she returned from a drinking spree. 
Juvenal was allegedly knocked as he opened the gate for Jacqueline.
