Egypt's Interim President Sworn in.

After the overthrow of Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammed Morsi and subsquently putting him under house arrest, Egypt has sworn in an Interim President to lead the Country until fresh elections are held.


Adly Mansour, atop Constitutional Court judge,was announced on Wednesday by Army chief Gen Abdul Fattah al-Sis, an act that Mr. Morsi has described as a military coup. Adly was then sworn into office on Thursday as the new President.

Mohammed Morsi had only led Egypt for one years after successfully overthrowing former leader Hossen Mubarak.

He has been accused by Egyptians for failing to look at their problems and only rules the country according to the wishes of his party, the Muslim Brotherhood.
