Jaguar Executive Coaches, a regional bus company has installed a 21.6Mbps Wi-Fi connection on their fleet, an effort officials said will go a long way in upping service delivery to travelers.
The transport company says the initiative is aimed at responding to the needs of society, and hopes it will give them a competitive edge over other regional bus operators.
The company plies routes to and from Kigali, Rwanda, and Kampala in Uganda with a fleet of over 24 buses.
Alex Katete, the company’s regional office manager at Nyabugogo Bus Terminal, said: “We are in a digital world where people want to feel connected all the time. For that reason and as customer care incentive, we have installed the Wi-Fi on many of our buses.”
He said this exercise began in June and the company is making an effort to install charging systems on each and every bus in order to make movement easier for its customers.
