The 2013 edition of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards was crowned up last evening with surprise guests taking on the stage.
Africa had her notch at the Awards and Best International Act: Africa went to Nigeria's Ice Prince, beating 2Face Idibia (Nigeria), Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa), R2Bees (Ghana), Radio and Weasel (Uganda).

Despite having had the most nominations, American Rapper Drake was not the night's biggest winner.
Kendrick Lamar was the night's winner taking home the coveted New Artist and Male Hip Hop Artist awards.
