The fire was contained early enough by Police from Kawaala Police Station.
A caretaker at the Tombs is said to have left unattended charcoal stove which caused the fire.
The fire comes at a time when Buganda Kingdom is on a reconstruction drive of the tombs which were burnt down by an unknown arsonist three years ago.
