Since the restoration of Cultural Institutions and Kingdoms by the National Resistance Government (NRM) government, Buganda Kingdom has been in negotiations with the Central Government to have these Properties returned.
At the signing of the Memorandum, President Museveni congratulated His Majesty upon making it to his 20th Coronation Anniversary.
“On behalf of my family, the NRM fraternity and the people of Uganda, I congratulate His Royal Highness The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II upon his 20th Coronation Anniversary” said the President.
