The Parliament of Uganda on Tuesday afternoon passed the Controversial Public Order Management Bill (POMB) amid opposition from a section of Opposition politicians.
The Bill is aimed at regulating the conduct of all citizens in Public, in regard to Public gatherings and conduct.
The passing of the Bill means that any gathering in the Public likely to attract attention of members of the Public is deemed "Illegal" unless with prior Authorization from the Police.
This according to the Opposition, Civil Society Organisations, Human Rights Activists is a violation of People's rights.
The secession was chaired by Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah.
