As the Uganda Vs Senegal 2014 World Cup Qualifiers match draws near, the National team has received a financial boost worth shs.384m from the President of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to help them in the preparations for this match, which every Ugandan is looking forward to.
At the flagging off of the Team on Tuesday at Entebbe International Airport, the President handed over the dummy cheque to Uganda Cranes captain, Hassan Wasswa and his team mates.

The money is to cater for the team's expenses including Training, Tickets, Allowances and Accommodation.
Cranes are set to play Botswana on Friday. Before their departure, the team was treated to a luncheon at State House Entebbe from where they proceeded to meet the Head of State.
Cranes fans have also not been left out of the President's offer. The President's office has chartered a plane at a cost of Shs.559m to fly 150 Ugandans to Morocco where the game will be played and return the same day after the match.
In addition, the president also instructed his staff to find a way of supporting the team members with a monthly allowance to enable the team earn a living and concentrate on training and plan how to win matches.
To the National Team, the President's offer is a boost to their quest for victory and they promised to work so hard to see that Uganda goes to the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
Museveni advised the players to be disciplined, focused have self-control and also score lots of goals. He had earlier congratulated the team for winning their recent matches and wished them luck.
Outgoing FUFA President Lawrence Mulindwa was delighted by the offer.
"That is what we have been waiting for. It has been our prayer and we are happy that it has been answered," said Mulindwa.
State minister for sports Charles Bakkabulindi said that it was the beginning of increased facilitation in sports stressed the need to maintain unity.
"Let's us work hard and on a united front and not lose what has been achieved," said Bakkabulindi.
