Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan are bracing up for this year's annual Tusker Project Fame singing Competition that is officially starting on Sunday 1st September.
The annual competition is aimed at spotting the best but unrecorgnised young talent from East Africans and the winners get rewards including, Medical Insurance, Air Tickets, Recording contracts with top recording studios in South Africa and cash prizes.
Uganda has previously had two winners (Esther Nabaasa and Davis).
Other Winners have come from Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania.
Despite them winning the contracts and the cash prizes, some of the previous winners barely have songs on their names and are very rare on the Music scene. Runners ups have showed that they are better at making songs and have captured the Music Industry in some of the Countries represented in the competition.
