Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released the 2013 Examination Time Tables for Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).
The Time Tables were released on Tuesday by UNEB at the Ntinda based offices.
According to the timetables, Primary Seven candidates will start with the briefing on November 1 and start the examinations on November 4 and end on 5. A total of 581,586 candidates are expected to sit for the PLE.
O-Level students will be briefed on October 11 and will commence exams on October 15 and end on November 19. A total of 295,472 candidates are expected to sit for the O-level exams in 2,888 centres.
A'Level Examinations are scheduled to begin on November 8 with briefing and end on December 2 with graphics design and Kiswahili Literature..
Uneb expects 116,027 candidates to sit for UACE in 1,310 examination centres.
Uneb spokesperson Hamis Kaheru also acknowledged receipt of all registration forms and other necessary information from the examination centres across the country. “We are in the process of cleaning the registers,” he said.
“while the registration information is provisional; we do not expect significant changes in the figures.” The exams timetables are yet to be printed and distributed to all examination centres, Kaheru added.
